My Father.
Came up from a dirt poor childhood in Alabama to a Sr VP with one of the largest banks in the US.
Integrity, honor and work ethic by the pound.       I hope to be half the man he is some day.

Definitely my dad. I started typing out brief descriptions of some of his highlights, but realized that the post was becoming very long. I will summarize it by saying my dad is awesome.

An old dead Englishman named Sir Samuel Baker.

Google him. Read his books, they're online at U.Penn.

I wish I could have said my father, but he bailed when I was seven...shit happens, no?

Toss up between my dad and his dad.

My dad worked long hours to provide for the family. He's also the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

My grandfather taught me my work ethic and what an honest days wage was. Since my dad was usually working afternoons I worked with my grandfather on the farm.

My Dad, an amazing father who taught me everything I know about being a man.  He taught me how to hunt,fish,camp,etc...  He taught me how a father should treat his children and how a husband should treat his wife.  He's 87 years old now, and I still call him at least once a week and ask his advice on various stuff.
