I hadn't thought of it, but that series is pretty ripe for remake
 .
I can see it now, when Marty (played by Jaden Smith) goes back to the '50s, we'll be treated to a bunch scenes of evil white men beating their wives and hassling gays, only to learn an important lesson after a heartfelt monologue. |

I don't think it will be for a while, if ever. It's enough of a cultural touchstone to be nearly immune from remaking - it would be akin to someone suggesting a remake of The Great Escape.
I can see a reboot, stealth remake, sequel or other form of cash-in on the classic series, though. We find the next generation of McFlys making friends with Doc Brown's niece, who has found all of Doc's old research and built a time machine of her own. Inter-temporal highjinks that are vaguely related to the original series ensue. |

They would probably cast Little BowWow as Marty and Cedric the Entertainer as Doc Brown.
