Went to go crank it up this morning and it was missing. Guess it is time to tighten up security around here.

I'm sorry that you had it stolen, but kinda pissed that you can USE a boat this time of year. Even the CT river is icing up with the temps around here

It's Florida so it isn't bad sometimes. Went out a little today and if the wind wasn't blowing it would have been decent. Speck season!

I hope the meth the asshole probably got for the battery is bad and fucking kills him slowly and painfully.

Yeah it does. Just kind of venting because I can't really do anything about it. Going to get some new motion sensor lights and security cameras set up soon. Probably some asshole trolling around the neighborhood at night looking for a quick grab.

It wasn't like the battery was just sitting in the front yard. The asshole had to open up some compartments and disconnect it and stuff. I guess I learned my lesson though lol.

Someone nabbed all three of mine (2 on the trolling motor, one for the rest of the boat). I have since installed said lights and cameras.

It totally sucks but years ago I came to realize that people will steal practically anything.
I actually had a 75 foot garden hose stolen from the side of my house about 10 years ago.
I was like...WTF.

If we can't stick the boat in the garage we end up taking everything out. Lots of boats were getting hit by us sometimes even taking the whole boat just for the motor.

I think they use them for meth. My neighbor had his truck battery stolen by a meth addict that had no fingers. Neighbor reported the theft the next morning, and the policeman said they caught the guy 2 blocks away with half a dozen car batteries. The cop said that meth cookers sometimes lose fingers during fires. I think it is impressive the guy was able to unbolt a battery with no fingers.

My brother had his padlocked 9hp honda trolling motor stolen off of his salmon boat.... while it was sitting in its slip at the docks overnight. Thieves suck ass
