Good to hear it is being discussed.

Is there any chance of it actually occurring over there?

What, you don't like the obsolete caliber pistols you can possess now, as long as you never get ammo for them?

Hit.

I have .45 ACP Hafdasa Balester Molina which I shoot plenty and have no problem getting ammo for.

We want more pistols and want pistol competition shooting back

Hit it several times. Didn't Ireland lift the ban on hanguns a few years back, after having banned them for years?

We need to get them back first……. if that means getting them back under licence then that's a start. Most of us UK shooters have Section 1 licences already.  We just need to get handguns moved from Section 5 to Section 1

Baby steps.

Did any one catch the part of the article where the guy states he doesnt want the american system where fully auto matic repeating rifles can be purchased at a local "supermarket" gun store? Do brits really believe this? Hell I wish it was that easy!

Mr Farage said: “I would not like us to go to the American System which strikes me as being absolutely crazy that you can go and buy automatic repeating rifles down at a local gun shop that looks more like a supermarket.

Mr Farage should be informed that he is safer in the United States with our "absolutely crazy" system then he is in great Britain.
