Like the lying sack of shit Wendy Cukier from Canada. Had some sort of cheated degree in communications, yet claimed to be a gun expert and led the Gun bans in Canada for years. Once the registry went she has been more or less sideline, just as well cause it gives old lardass more time at the mandarin buffet to scorf down another 40 lbs of chicken balls. Good luck with your ban, even some sort of mild reversal would be a good change. You guys had abnormally low crime rates until gun control started. |

OP and other UK members,
Have you noticed any increase in the popularity of firearms/shooting in your country in the last several years? Western Civilization is interconnected and I often wonder if the huge increase in firearms enthusiasm in the U.S. has rubbed off much in other Western nations. |

While there hasn't been a massive increase I was talking to a firearms licensing officer the other day and he said they had seen a steady increase in new people taking up shooting which he was pleased about. I think the media hype of previous decades has left people with the impression that guns are not available.......most people could own a gun without much hassle at all but they simply don't know how to go about it or what is involved. Guns are quite expensive here, and with the higher cost of living people tend to her less money to get into the sport. I dare say that if they had more disposable income we would see a lot more people taking the sport up. |

Forget about it, somebody fudged it:
I looked further into it - polldaddy (who host the poll) are very easy to hack with a simple script. I found a simple tool called "flopex polldaddyhack v0.2" that lets you pick a number out of the air, and it'll add that many votes to whatever answer and poll you want.
I think it's fair to say that polldaddy polls are completely broken and impossible to gleam any kind of meaning out of. Just for fun I added a few thousand votes to the no vote, and we're at 53% "No" now. |
