We are thinking about getting my son an electric guitar and an amp for xmas. Any recomendations on a good quality low priced guitar? We found a Kramer Focus with amp for little under $150 and then we found a Fender Strat and or Fat Cat for like $119 and $149 but those are just the guitars and then another $60 for an amp. Anyone know of a good site to go to on the web or stores in Tulsa?

How old is your son?

Fender makes a "Jam Pack" which is a Stratocaster and small amp which runs around $200, maybe less.
