HAS ANYBODY USED S & K INSTA-MOUNTS FROM SUGAR GROVE PA ? THAY HAVE A BOUNCH OF SCOPE MOUNTS FOR MILITARY GUNS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE DRILLING AND TAPPING. ANY THOUGHTS ON THEM ? MOSTLY INTERESTED IN THE 1917 ENFIELD, MAUSER & GRAND MOUNTS

AFAIK, they require the removal of the rear sight on most of those rifles, and just bolts or screws into the empty holes left by them.  I know this is the case with the M1, but not sure about the Enfield.  It's probably similar.  

Don't know if they're stable that way or not, tho.
