I am supposed to write a 4-6 page paper that is to be read and discussed this week in a lecture hall of 100-150 students.  I was hoping that you guys can post some links to the following things.

According to the theories of propaganda that we studied in my class "Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature" we're supposed to use theories learned thus far this semester, create a thesis of something textually representative of current culture, and then provide both FACTS and REFERENCES to prove our point.

Particularly I am playing off our theories of propaganda for the Anti-Gun Liberal Media, and their hidden agendas.  One propaganda theory is to choose a media term that is used and misused in many different ways over time, and add this into the tryst of one's thesis;  I plan on using the well-abused term "Sniper".

If you can help me find the following, that would be F#$@ING GREAT!!!

[s]5.) Recent Department of Justice statistics, particularly the ones that claimed that assault rifles account for only about 2% of ALL gun related crime.  This would be INCREDIBLY helpful incase sometime soon I decide to scrap the whole "Sniper" thing and go with the "Assault Rifle" term.[/s]

Things seem to be fairing along GREAT thus far.  I'll post the grade later this semester when this is all over...  Perhaps I should send the paper to something like WorldNetDaily or something to see if they'll print/post it on their news (as if it's new [rolleyes])!
