The 2015 Ford Bronco is coming back in 2014...power trains are rumored to be the 3.5l ecoboost, 5.0 coyote, and a 4.5l diesel, as well as a choice in manual or automatic transmissions I see this giving the Jeep Wrangler some much needed competition. I want one in Flat Dark Earth. |

I love Ford, but that looks like something built from Megablocs.

That thing is FUGLY.
Base it off the Raptor and they might be on to something. |

Updated high profile getaway car.
Edit: looks even boxier than a D90 or 110. |
|
Why the full F150 wheel base? Why four doors? Why make it look like a Hummer or Jeep Commander? |
|
I'll take mine in white with juice holder please.
ETA Damnit 57 seconds.... |
|
Looks fucking retarded. I hate the direction modern SUVs and trucks are going.

They need to ditch all below the grille so aftermarket bumpers can be added.
It's probably going to be IFS, which is better for the highway but not so much for negotiating off road obstacles. If they roll with a solid axle, it will be a direct competitor to anything Jeep has, especially with a V8 or diesel stuffed in it. |

It could look like a giant cock but a 4x4 with a Coyote motor will sell it

Wish they'd bring back the Bronco II and base it off of the last Ranger. Keep the 8.8 rear. Hell I'd still take a TTB front end

Looks interesting.
When I was growing up we had a Bronco II. That thing was pretty awesome in deep snow for a little truck.

Can't argue those points, but in my mind, no solid axles = no real competition for Wrangler OTHER than looks and cool factor. But like you said, that's probably all it takes anymore. |

Looks a lot like a Jeep knock off to me. I still like it though.

Hideous, and yet another desperate retro grasp because they can't innovate.

I also think going to IRS in the Mustang is dumb (live axle greater than IRS FOR 1/4 mile)...but when you consider that the vast majority of jeeps do not go off-road, or at best are not pushed to their capabilities and are driven by people that want to look cool...YEAH, it will give the Jeep a run for its money.Quoted: Quoted: The 2015 Ford Bronco is coming back in 2014...power trains are rumored to be the 3.5l ecoboost, 5.0 coyote, and a 4.5l diesel, as well as a choice in manual or automatic transmissions I see this giving the Jeep Wrangler some much needed competition. With auto manufacturers marketing almost exclusively to women in the new car market these days......I would agree, that is probably all it takes these days. |
