I miss Danny Gatton, I used to go see him at the Wax Museum and the Gentry in DC

it's hard to believe he has been gone 20 years

I have the collected works of Gatton and Buchanan

There aren't many guitar players that get anywhere near them.  Damn shame they are not with us today.
They live forever on my mp3 player

Thanks OP.  Now I have to buy some Danny Gatton CD's...

Here's my humble submission for 'Redneck Pickin' Master.'

I think I'll be buying some Roy Buchanan, too!

Don't get me wrong, I'm one of the world's biggest Rev. Heat fans (I've met him, taken pictures with him, had him give me a shout-out once at a big show here in town), but he's not on the same level technically as Gatton or Buchanan. I'd still rather listen to the Rev for hours on end than any "Master of the Telecaster" types.
