I got a Saturday off with the fam so went with Becks Saphire instead of the ol Coors. Never tried it but it gets the job done.

Started the evening with two 25oz cans of Bud Ice.
Don't Hate! At $1.39 a can it's a good start. |
|
Alternating sips of Beck's and Famous Grouse.
Will switch to Bass Pale Ale and Sobieski vodka for the next round. |

Looks and sounds pretty damn tasty It's got a tiny bit of a burnt aftertaste. Otherwise it would be great. |

Thank you. It is actually my second home-made batch. I am working on what kind of flavors I prefer. So far, I know I like noticeable cinnamon, but not Big Red levels. I am going to quarter and apple and boil it in the next batch, and put the slices in each Mason Jar. I just hoping they aren't mushy after boiling, otherwise I will have to add them after the fact. I might add, if you were thinking the brewed in the woods and sold in the dark of night type of Apple Pie...I have not yet made the kind of connection I would trust to not accidentally blind me. If NC would stop the state-regulation of alcohol, the Everclear version would be just as potent |
