Its sho' is purdy, I know that much.

ETA: though Im not going to lie, for something that size I would rather have a 9mm, and for a 9mm 1911 that size I would rather have an EMP, but if I was set on .45 I would get that in a heartbeat if it suited my needs.

What is MSRP?

eta: My brother got one from a buddy for $600, he loves it.
Hasn't had any problems so far.

This.

I have this...

Fantastic gun.  I don't love the size in .45 either. I'd shoot one first before you Fo.

The bottom one is a New Agent. It came from the factory with XS sights instead of the trench sights. I had a Wilson beavertail added. I carry it often, used it through a couple draw/shoot classes. Love it.

I don't think it's a New Agent, it's probably a Defender.
I don't see how they could install sights on the New Agent.

Yea, it's top secret too.

Price????

I kind of like them, depending on the cost.  My grail is a Detonics Combat Master at a reasonable price.

I have a New Agent.  It's a good pistol and I practice with it about once a month.

Like the poster above, if I had it to do over again, I would

Make sure this New Agent has the recall work done if it needs it. The recall will fix the recoil spring guide pad.  It needs fixing, if your pistol is in the serial number range.

http://www.coltsmfg.com/CustomerServices/RepairRefinish/RecallRequest.aspx

A defective guide pad WILL break under repeated firing and the pieces will jam the pistol up, making it difficult to disassemble and diagnose.  Ask me how I know.

Why? Not like I'm going in there and asking for a price match.

Never had a breakage, but did get the recall taken care of, and I concur with Ken's assessment.

It depends on what I'm wearing or doing.

I know there is a significant difference between the two, when using the same belt and holster, I won't even notice the alloy-framed OACP 10 hours later, where the steel frame Gov't model will always make its presence known.

I like my New Agent for what it is, a compact, large caliber handgun.  It's not that much fun to shoot but it fills a role that its big brothers cannot.
