Earlier in the year I took a trip to the mountains of eastern KY, and while shooting on the side of a mountain my surefire p2x must have fell out of my gear pouch.. I also lost a damn nice pair of oakleys while canoeing in Indiana. Turned the damn thing over in the rapids...

What all has everyone lost that bugs them? Anybody lost a firearm in a boating accident???

Teacher when I was in 5th grade took my really nice magnifying glass because I was just using it to burn tiny ants.

I lost 1976-1989 due to addiction and piss poor decision making.  If there was a way to get those years back I would.

Only thing I've lost that I regret losing was a photo of me at a very young age at a coal mine museum with my father..

Material/Commerical goods can be replaced.  Shit like that cannot.

Lost my favorite pair of sunglasses leading a white water rafting trip in 09'

Lost a pair of Peltor Tactical ear pro last year at knob creek; fell outta my dump pouch in the parking lot and were gone inside of two minutes. Even hade my name and phone number on them.

When I was in college, I shot on the archery team and had a really nice recurve bow, a Hoyt Avalon. I kept it in a locker in the archery building. I ended up transferring to another school to finish my undergrad, and stupidly left the bow behind in the locker over the Summer.  When I went back for it, my lock had been removed and the bow was gone. No one seemed to know anything about it except that it was left and considered abandoned.
That was more than a decade ago and I still have painful regrets about it.
