Ever since they updated the chrome software a while back the browser has been very slow to load and really, slow everywhere else.
I googled it (lol) and it seems there is a problem but no real solution that I can find.  I have no extensions running and it works great in incognito mode.
If I turn off the bookmarks bar at the top it does speed up but I haven't found a way to disable it completely, when I open a new tab or close and restart the browser it comes back.

So, is there anything better than chrome ??

Any ideas on a fix for chrome ?
