Textiles is a training wheels industry. I don't really give a damn where my clothes are made.
Besides, manufacturing is the only game in town. For every Chinese made thing you buy, someone here had to unload it at a port, move it to a train, rail it across the country, truck it to a distribution point, move it again to a store, stock it, and market it for you to buy it. That's a lot of American hands at work. |

Williams Wright Tool Co Starrett Precision Tools (90% american made- you got to look at the packages now) Vaughn Hammers Dasco Punches and Chisels Toyo and Nitto Tires Red Wings (Only the PECOS line, look inside the boot for sure) H&H Boots White Hat Holsters Maudlin & Sons Stainless Shims J H Case knives Bunn Coffee Makers (the stainless steel industrial models like the A10, VPR series) Wrangler Clothes (most of them still are USA made, eg. fire resistant models etc) Stihl chainsaws and power equipment Echo is made in usa but with import engines Bad Boy Lawnmowers John Deere (about 70% are. but unless you go bigger then 5 series SOMETHING will be chinese. eg:5105 is like a 60k$ tractor, but the front axle is a chinese spicer) Case Equipment Pelican cases Boyt cases (copies of pelican, great quality) pretty much anything you want you can find made in USA and it WILL be higher quality, except electronics. Yeah, i have an iphone and my computer and tv's and playstations and shit are probably all chinese, however our family exhausts all resources before buying import unless it's because of quality issues. eg. rolex > all american watch brands, and so on, and so forth. When you get ready to buy anything over 20$, google an american made version. chances are it can be had on amazon. |
