I've been asked to come up with a Christmas list for my family so they don't have to cop out with gift cards. (I like 'em... but whatever)
One of things I've been wanting is a new holster. I have no need for a new one... but I want one. Figured I'd find out what Arfcom uses and get some ideas and suggestions. Range/SHTF: Safariland 6378 CCW: Cheapo Desantis Dual Carry II (until I can afford a Crossbreed) Miscellaneous: Blackhawk Serpa CQC, Safariland 6360, a bunch of generic nylon holsters ETA: I think I want a new range holster. OWB. If it can be concealed with a jacket, that's a perk but not a deal breaker. |

CompTac 2 o'clock (really 10 o'clock, I'm a lefty) for ccw, CompTac paddles for open.
|

For EDC, Crossbreed. I've also had the MTAC and prefer the CB ST over that. For pocket carry, I have an awesome kydex holster... FIST maybe? For full leather, I am partial to R.Grizzle.

One version or other of Safariland on-duty
Crossbreed Supertuck off-duty |
|
lol...major poll fail......some guy named Milt I hear is pretty good......Lou Alessi gets no love?
|
|
Double Alpha, LimCat, BladeTech, Hersey, Safariland & Uncle Mikey.
|
|
|
Safariland for work. Milt Sparks VM2 everywhere else. Also have a kydex holster from Atomic Dog for my G17 + TLR1 for the days I want to carry a full sized pistol.

Comptac CTACs, Comptac MTAC, Galco King Tuck, Garrett Industries Silent Thunder IWB with leather loops, Galco Ankle Glove, and Master's pancake OWB are the primary ones I rotate among depending on what gun I want to carry.
Rated in order of comfort -- Ankle Glove King Tuck (yes, even though it carries a Sig P226) Master's Pancake OWB GI Silent Thunder IWB MTAC CTAC The CTAC and Silent Thunder IWB are the best to draw from and reholster. |

I have never heard of him. Will check it out right now. I also already used all the answer choices. Forgive me! View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Forgive me! just busting your chops.....Milt Sparks...check him out......Lou is the Godfather to many modern custom holster makers.....he passed away a few years ago but his legacy can be seen in many designs out there |

Just switched to custom kydex from serpas because blackhawk only makes light bearing holsters for their blackhawk pistol light.

Crossbreed Supertuck. Wife bought it in the EE for my birthday last year.
|

Desantis OWB for my Keltec P11
Clament Custom Leather OWB for my Ruger SR9c and SR45 (I like their products, found them on ebay for about $40 ea) And... Serpa for my Ruger 9c And... Fobus for my Ruger SR45 (The SR40 model fits it well) Uncle Mike's Reflex holster for the 1911... actually quite impressed with that one. Some cheap nylon holster for the Ruger 22/45, since it's just a range gun, and the holster protects it in the range bag. |
|
Crossbreed Supertuck.
That's probably the worst list of holsters I've ever seen, btw. |
|
Nylon? Leather?
Bah! Kydex all the way! Well ok I have a DeSantis nylon-ish pocket holster for my LC9 as well. |
|
I like DeSantis holsters, but Vega holsters have served me well in the past too.
When I retire my DeSantis holster I might pick up another Vega. http://www.vegaholster.com/eng/ |

Duty = Blackhawk Serpa III.
CC = Crossbreed supertuck. HK P30 |

When I originally thought of making this thread, I was looking for a range holster for shits and giggles. I had been pretty set on getting a Crossbreed for my new CCW. Although, now I'm looking at some others suggested.
Forgive me for my sins |

Raven for kydex. Old Milt Sparks for 1911's. El Paso Saddlery for western style holsters.
