Saw him doing an interview on TV just the other night. Looked like he was wasting away or had teh aids. I, too, enjoyed his music back in the day......

My favorite line from that song is, "Fellas it's been good to know ya". I just started appreciating his music a couple years ago when I was looking for this song. I made a Pandora Gordon Lightfoot channel to find it. After listening to fifteen other songs of his before I got to this one, I thought "this guys good". I want to get a greatest hits CD. |

He's old, and decades of hard boozing and lots of pills have taken their toll. When I saw him at Massey Hall in '91, he put on a hell of a show. Just him and his guitars. It was awesome. His version of 'Me and Bobby McGee' is excellent. |

Not to familiar with 'ol Gordon Lightfoot but I will be. I need to get some of his music. I saw a piece about him on a CBS Sunday morning show and now I want to listen to his music.

Saw him in '72 . At the top of his game he was . One of the best shows I've seen . It's tough seeing him in such rough shape but all things considered
he's lucky to still be w/us . He lived in an era of ultra-talented people , him included . |
