One of those circular glass cutter thingies you see in heist and spy movies

Looks like somebody stuck a toilet plunger on it and then pulled it off....

DAMO vacuum suction cup

I have two of these on the rear window of the f150 I bought new last year. It's from the assembly line. No matter how much I scrub, wipe, etc inside or out it shows up when the windows get foggy. You'd never know the window wasn't perfectly clean the rest of the time.

View Quote This is what I'm thinking. thieves will pull the glass away from the door frame (or the door away from the car body) on models that permit doing so, and fish for the door handle or lock knob through the crack. |

Somebody attempting to break into a car in Houston?
The fuck you say! |
|
Suction cup attached to robotic arm that picked up glass and stacked it when it was made. Glass was still hot so it leaves microscopic imprints.

I saw the same thing on my newish Tacoma window. Artifact from when they installed the window. Do a good window cleaning in and out.

Rare flying jelly fish tracks...
Or the suction cup thing, thief or factory worker. |

Fuckin' lampreys.
They get bold in the winter. Edit: I see I was beaten. On the serious tip, could you use a suction cup to pull the window out far enough to make it easier to get your hanger in there to unlock the door? Seems like the print would be higher on the window, though. |

What is the diameter of the circle? To me it looks as if a glass suction handle was applied and used to attempt to force the window down. But i'm just guessing. like this: http://link.webhard.co.kr/img/HDB_IDKGJ1212_FD201201221012846197BDEFF View Quote Agree. Someone wanted to pull the window out so as to slip in a door opener. Had a locksmith do that to my rental once. |

They pry it open just far enough to slip a straightened coat hanger in to hit the button to unlock the doors. |
