So.....The big cause of gun crimes in Europe is smuggling....yet they go after gun owners.....Not so different from our current admin.

If they are pushing so hard for further confiscation they are worried about another economic calamity. It makes me wonder just how bad the PIIGS are bringing down the Euro and the EU as a whole.

They are missing the point, since when do criminals follow the rules?? Ok say you ban civilian ownership completely and confiscate all weapons from the legal law abiding citizen. All that will do is increase demand on the black market, which will in turn make these illegal gun traffickers more powerful. The bad guys still have sir guns, the good guys are left defenseless, and the market for illicit firearms grows.

The simple answer, as detailed above, is that you can not prevent it. That's why it's a right. You can punish it, but you can't stop it. |
