70% of the country has snow on the ground and it's 79 and sunny here. You couldn't pay me enough to live up north again.

Wearing shorts and running around with the top off the Jeep.

I don't know, pushing frozen water with my trucks has made me some pretty good money over the years.

rocking my shorts and tshirt at the office in the middle of December.

Snow and cold keep the rif-raf out.
Look at FL, and the scum it attracts. Enjoy it. |

Have fun with all those aggressive invasive species, I guess.

Except for the summer when it's ridiculously hot and humid and rains every 20 minutes, sure.

Humidity is high but temps are not that terrible. |

I don't mind the weather here anymore. The summer is so hot in the South I would rather have our crappy winters and have our beautiful Spring, Summer and Fall. Besides slate grey skies and snow makes you fucking tough. Grr

Funny, that's one of the reasons I LEFT Florida. Yep it's a bit chilly out here in Colorado but I've got no humidity, no bugs, beautiful mountains/trees/forest to hike around, snow to ski and play in and real big game to hunt for. Overall I love it here, just miss my friends in Florida.
I do miss the gator hunting, that was a blast!! |

I live in Michigan where in the summer it gets to around 100 degrees and TONS and TONs of humidity. I've spent years in Iraq where it gets to 120. So, this isn't some dude who never experienced hot weather before.... And 97 degrees with 100% humidity sucks ass. |

I make sure to pass on all this good info to all the liberals I encounter in NY over the holidays. They're itching to get out of the high taxed NY for someplace warmer.
I'll explain to them how awesome FL is and how you can wear shorts and go to the beach in January. |
|
Oh and for the most part my kid can swim in the river or whatever without worrying about getting eaten by a big gator or having amoebas eat his brain to death over the next couple of days.

Sure, our mosquitoes are big enough to airlift cats, but I'll just wear bug spray out in the woods. |
