I thought this was going to be a post about Al Gore and his facial hair.

I shave once about every 5 days...

I should shave every day.  I get a lot of grief about not shaving enough.  But some women seem to like the unshaven look.  Not Don Johnson, though.  Ugh.

Not that Don Johnson is a woman.  Not that look.

Lucky you.  Three months and I would look like Santa Claus.  I have to heavy cut this mess back every three weeks.  Shears and Dustbuster vaccuum are standard tools.

I started shaving at age 14(ugh..).  By 18, I was shaving twice a day.  That got very old and I decided to let it grow.

I grew a beard because I was too lazy to get out of bed early enough to shave before work for a week. by then it was easy to let it grow the rest of the way than to shave it

trimming it to keep it even is easy: get a beard trimmer with an adjustable length guard

I can go without shaving for about three or four days before it starts to look too bad, if I started off with a razor shave. Usually I just run over it with a beard trimmer with no guard every couple of days.

mine gets pretty damn bushy by the end of february

i usually stop trimming about the beginning of december, and then don't cut it down again (except for the moustache to keep the hairs out of my mouth when eating) until the beginning of march

luckily I have fine textured lightly haired. I shave every 3days or so. Except in the summer when diving 3to5 times a week I need a superSUCKTION fit w/my mask and shave more often.

It depends on whether you're done courting also.  Most women don't seem to like facial hair, though a few really love it.  As for maintenance, it takes me about 5 minutes, once a week, to keep mine trimmed short with an adjustable-guard beard trimmer.

I've had a beard since I was 17.  Even got a "no shave" chit in Navy boot camp due to skin problems.  I did shave it off, once, just for the hell of it.  My kids cried becasue they didn't recognize me and my wife said that either I grow it back or she leaves me.  Claimed that she saw enough of my face with the beard.  Without it was too much to endure.  Oh, well.  Went to a goatee this fall.  Will probably go back to ZZ Top or Randy Bachmann this spring.

My kids saw me without a beard the first time this summer. They are 26, 19, and 16. I promptly grew it back. Haven't touched it since July. will trim for Christmas.

I'm too lazy to shave, too... This time of year I have an excuse though. I stop shaving completely around August, because I like to have a beard for hunting season. [;)]
Having dealt with the subject of shaving since age 12 I quickly hated shaving tremendously and grew fond of goatees and sometimes a beard. If I were to stay clean shaven I'd have to shave twice a day.. no way in hell am I going to do that. Besides, I've always loved my goatees, had one all the way through high school and back as far as early 8th grade. [whacko]

Except for the weekends I shave every day [:(] Not that I like  shaving, but the job requires it.

I must be the exception.  The only time I go without shaving is on our camping expeditions, and by the end of a week it is itching the hell out of me.  If you gotta/want to shave daily, try shaving in the shower.  Takes alot of the time and hassle out of it.

Full beards are making a comeback.

Goatees are dead.

Only cops, Firefighters, & Gay bikers have mustaches.

What the heck do you mean goatees are dead? They are alive and well! I have one! I look sexy with it! My wife hates it, but who cares...

I'm blessed with slow facial hair, and only have to shave my sides once a week!!!

Have been able to grow one all the times I've tried.  Just whacked off about 3 weeks worth due to the incessant itching which drives me nuts.

I've been thoroughly brainwashed by the military. The hampsters spinning around in the cage inside my hollow brain tell me to shave every morning.................don't ask....
