Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - RRA R3 Competition rifle upper

I was looking to build a Varminter. Then I came across this upper. 18" fluted barrel, free float handguard, factory compensator. I was able to get it NIB for $650, it'll be here next week. Does anyone else here own one? Any input?

I bought the R3 upper a couple months ago and could not be happier.  Get consistent clover leaf groups at 100 yards......200 yard groups are right at an inch using 60 grain vmax.   Was shooting with the RRA  entry operator 2 upper prior to the R3 ........good buy.
