Many people think that the term "monkey" is used by racists to refer to blacks, but I don't know why.
That having been said, it won't be long before this thread is locked as well. Any discussion of race is inevitably locked. Gotta stay PC. So... IBTL, MF! |

In reality, in means In Before The Lock. I added the MF not as an insult towards you, but to emulate the speech of my local ghetto PEOPLE (edited as to not offend by using a non-human primate noun in refrence to such persons).

I did not use a racist comment, an offensive one is not racist, just offensive. Those local idiots would be known as the staff or moderators. If you had described your problem neighbors as local idiots you'd be fine rather than a racial epithet. I assume that the "local idiot" in question e-mailed you pointing out your misuse of board. It's not about political correctness - which really has nothing to very little to do with racial slurs - but has much to do with respect for gun owners and shooters here of different races. Personnally I thought ghetto monkey was a game [url]http://ghettomonkey.gq.nu/[/url] but have heard both latinos and blacks called various forms of monkeys. I too have been here since day one - just two incarnations - so if you've been here long you'll know and respect the policies of the board. What did the moderator that locked the post ask you? Was the tread something that needs to be edited so that it can be rescued? |

Far be it from me to protect the mods, I think they do a fine job of it for themselves, but this is a privately owned board, and the owners are free to dictate and enforce any rules that they desire. May I suggest fullauto.com, as they seem to have more of an "anything goes" attitude, and may have even been created as a response to complaints like yours. |
