Good job Ford... 1. Ford C-MAX Energi 2. Ford Escape 3. Mini Cooper Countryman 4. Ford C-MAX Hybrid 5. Nissan Pathfinder 6. Volkswagen Beetle 7. Cadillac XTS 8. Ford Explorer 9. Hyundai Genesis Coupe 10. Ford Taurus |

I had a Mercury Sable back in the day. It's the last Ford product I will ever buy
|

I'm surprised to find the Escape there. Mine (2001) served me very well; at 320k+ miles it finally crapped out (water jacket leaking BAD). But hey, over 320 thousand miles, with minimal maintenance?
|

surprised there is no Jag, Austin Martin, Range Rover, Ferrari, etc..
Had a old guy in a red 458 Italia sitting next me while we were both outside at the UPS store. Damn the car is fine |

Consumer Reports has just about the shittiest methods of determining reliability ever.
Toss that shit in the trash, and head over to True Delta.

I have absolutely NO use for Consumer Reports!
It's a useless piece of shit rag! |

Quick, everybody run out and support foreign heavy industry.

Didn't consumer reports rank the Corvette Z06 lower then the two exotics it was up against despite having a far far lower price tag and beating the exotics in almost every objective test because IT DIDN'T HAVE CUP HOLDERS.
Yea, you read that right. They rated lower because a sports car didn't have cup holders. |

They are a LIBERAL mag, therefore the majority of their subscribers are also liberal American hating pukes and their reviews align with their audience. I know lets do a survey HERE on whether an AR-15 or an AK 47 is better |

You have never looked at a CR car issue have you? The one I have here.....latest edition.... lists model years from 03-12. It also lists the problem areas and what the chart means. |

I know someone who picked one up that had a special dealer incentive of doubling the warranty to 200k. He's yet to have an issue. |

It looks like the Escape is the eco-boost version and the Taurus is the turbo version. No mention of the average run of the mill vehicle. My MIL has an Escape with about 100k on it and nothing done but tires and brakes. My son has an 06 Taurus that fixed for him when it had 30k on it. He has 130k on it now and other than Tires and brakes only a coil and two o2 sensors |

Guys, I've been in the Automotive industry for twenty years. I can, without any shred of doubt, tell you that every car ever made is a steaming pile of shit. Some just steam less than others.

Maybe I just know how to read the data and charts or understand them better than that dude and his infomercial. |

From our vac. cleaner, TV, blender, cars, truck, etc. I have found them to be very good at picking winners and losers. I don't mind what I pay for CR, I believe it has saved me much more and probably a ton in aggravation. AND, why the hell do I want to know about a cars reliability for at the age of 4 months?? What fucking car doesn't go 4 months without a problem? Stale data?? RIGHT?? ETA: Only once in my lifetime have I purchased a first year model. Don't do it..... wait until the next model year. Ford EcoBoost owners should have waited..... I'm not interested in being a test subject. OH, and just what kind of data can you report in 4 months? How many miles driven? |

Yeah, I know this list must be faulty or my eyes are deceiving me. No WAY their is a least reliable car award and only one Volkswagen made the list! Haters going to hate, and yes, I am on my third.

FWIW, consumer reports couldn't get an 87 Buick regal T-type to run 0-60 in under 8 seconds
And the big complaint on the Ford's is the my touch entertainment control touch screens |
|
I've had many cars over the years, but the ones I've kept and currently own are a Mazda, Honda, Toyota, and a Subaru. The crack industrial engineers that we sent to Japan after the war taught them well.
