Patrolling an area and saw a car parked in a dark area. Figured it was just a couple getting their groove on so I decided to check it out. Upon approach I saw this

Then I realized it was just an art project. I assume at least. Somone probaby just wanted to mess with the police. I did find this humorous though.

Oh man... Imagine if the "Art project" involved burning that outer layer of masking tape, papier-mache or whatever that is.

But now I've got some cool ideas for Halloween next year.

Not my yard though. I'll just add some burned up masking tape corpses at random to the yards of neighbors who do go all out decorating.

I have a friend who bought an uncanny mannequin of an old man from a PBS auction (after we goaded and browbeat him into it). He would drive around with it sometimes, to fuck with the neighbors. There were a couple of times that people thought that there was an actual old man passed out from the heat.

I have had a couple of calls for dead bodies in vehicles where, at first approach, it really did look like it. Fortunately, they turned out to be misidentified.
