SATIRE,....
My "I paid the house off and now have stupid money in my account" gun is an M82A1.
I have an 8 1/2" penis so my desire to own one may not be as high as it is for others...
meh
why, so I can have the "big gun" at the range..... that's ok I've shot enough of them that the "oh wow cool" factor is lost on me - same with full auto unless it's something special (Stg-44 and MG3 were both kinda fun, I'll admit but the MG3 got boring after 10k rounds of "shoot up this ammo" time.....) |
If OP buys me one, I will not complain about it; otherwise...
That is WAY TOO POWERFUL for an ordinary Joe like me.
I want one!! |
I have one chambered in 50 AE. Do I get any sort of credit for that?

or I don't have a place to shoot one nor do I need one Don't get me wrong if i was given one I would take it but there are a lot of other more calibers that are more practical for me to own..I don't buy guns to just put in my safe. |
I picked up an AR-30 in .338 Lapua six months ago. Best I can do in this state.

I've owned 4 different rifles and an upper over the years. It always comes down to nowhere to shoot the damn thing. At 100-200 yards the thrill kinda dies out.
Even if I was wealthy there is no where for me to shoot one.

I already have a way to mount it to my coffee table, so if they are stealing it, they are also stealing a 250 pound 4x3x2 coffee table.
now i just need one. |

Just wondering. What is the going price for a base gun?
Single shot, bolt action. |

Some of us prefer money in our bank accounts. Get both! Barrett CQ owner. Hell, I can't afford .308, .223 and 7.62x39 are somewhat of a luxury, and .22 not worth the price nowadays. What's .50 going for now? $10.00/round? Not gonna happen unless I win Powerball. |

I think when I have that kind of money I mouth just go full retard and get a 20mm.

You can build a safe/fun/reliable/pretty damn accurate 50BMG bolt gun together for under $2K ...of course you can spend more Ammo can be loaded for around $1 each, and can be bought for about $2-$3 a pop to get you started. ...of course you can spend more AR15.com 50BMG sub-board---> http://www.ar15.com/forums/b/6_Armory.html |

just imaging the face of someone who looks down the barrel of it at 2 a.m. while they are breaking into your house. |
Somewhere out there in Cyberspace (lost on my home computers) is a picture at the first 'black rifle convention' (Nebo, IL) with a group of us holding several .50bmgs. I was the owner of a couple of them. Since sold due to school/residency/buying a house.
Wish I still had the picture... |

One of many stalled big-bore projects , a 50BMG falling block single shot , that my smith and old friend started years ago.
Below it is a regular Pedersoli Sharps for comparison . Quoted: .............. Don't have the coin for a semi? Get one of these: Ferret50 upper. 20MOA rail, left-handed receiver and bolt, 29" Lothar Walther barrel, on a DPMS single shot lower receiver. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-uVndBG18KJE/TPaEU_iDiOI/AAAAAAAAAC4/ypHPCXyEQZE/s640/IMG_0040.JPG View Quote That's exactly the route I was originally heading until health issues handed pink slips to all my projects. Those barrels had some decent results at the 50BMG-LR shoots . Had a decent deal worked out with a shooter on 6br.com , and then it all went to hell . |
