Boston was Tom Scholz and Brad Delp. The rest of them were there to audition and to play instruments when Scholz couldn't use a multitrack recorder. They were talented musicians. You don't hire schlubs for your audition with Epic Records. But they could have been replaced by anyone who could play. The sound was all Tom Scholz.
