Have it and love it.
The chances of your fingerprints ever being used "against" you pale in comparison to the chances of your life being seriously affected by identity thieves. |

I think its a cool feature as long as you could keep that app from internet communication like you can with android apps. That said, I like the control I have with android and wouldnt trade that for anything.

Have it, love it, not worried about it. My fingerprints are logged numerous places as is. Supposedly it's stored into a "hash" not the actual fingerprint.

Yes love it. Scanned both thumbs in so I can single-handedly unlock the phone with either hand.

I don't have one but I do have a USB fingerprint reader connected to my work PC. I really like it.
Don't worry, your fingerprint information isn't transmitted from the phone to anything else. It's about as secure as any consumer product is likely to be these days. |

Even if it isn't enabled they could still get your fingerprint.
If you were really concerned, you would probably have to put a piece of duct tape over the home button. |

They've already got so many sets of my prints, it's pathetic.
And I have that phone... the fingerprint feature is super nice. |

I like that I can keep it secured without typing a code every time I use my phone. Never bothered securing my 4s because of that.
