Does anyone here have a iPhone 5S? Do you have to use the fingerprinting option? I just don't like the idea of my fingerprint going to
Who
Knows who!?

You could always turn that feature off or get a different phone.

Thst would be too easy though...

Have it and love it.

The chances of your fingerprints ever being used "against" you pale in comparison to the chances of your life being seriously affected by identity thieves.

I think its a cool feature as long as you could keep that app from internet communication like you can with android apps. That said, I like the control I have with android and wouldnt trade that for anything.

Have it, love it, not worried about it.  My fingerprints are logged numerous places as is.  Supposedly it's stored into a "hash" not the actual fingerprint.

Yes love it. Scanned both thumbs in so I can single-handedly unlock the phone with either hand.

I don't have one but I do have a USB fingerprint reader connected to my work PC.  I really like it.

Don't worry, your fingerprint information isn't transmitted from the phone to anything else.  It's about as secure

as any consumer product is likely to be these days.

Even if it isn't enabled they could still get your fingerprint.

If you were really concerned, you would probably have to put a piece of duct tape over the home button.

I like that I can keep it secured without typing a code every time I use my phone. Never bothered securing my 4s because of that.
