If a state was under attack from an enemy and got no help from the US government. They would have to
depend on state guard if they have one, police and citizens. So what state would be the easiest to take over? |

IDK, but I'm gonna throw a guess out there at it being either a central state like Arkansas or a minuscule state like Connecticut that doesn't have much land mass.
ETA: Hmmm... rethinking this. Hawaii or Alaska. I don't know what their National Guard forces are like, but I would bet that Hawaii relies on the Fed alot and While everyone in Alaska has a gun, the population is not concentrated and spread out pretty thin. Good for guerrilla warfare, but not so much for a concentrated effort on behalf of the defenders. Alaska would be overrun and a guerrilla insurgency would ensue. |

Any northern liberal state. Southern red states will fight to the death.

It would depend on the enemy. Cali would fold to a North Korea or China, but fight to the death if it was the TEA Party.

Cali's got The Stumps, so that alone makes up for the 22 million gays. No overrunning that bitch.
Thus, it's Massachusetts. You fruits have fallen a damn long way since Lexington and Concord. Not even the same race. |

In the lower 48 I'd have to say my own state of NM. Some based on population density (lack their of). Also the many reservations that are heavily FSA.
My town of 20000 explodes to 60000 every first and last if the month or pay Friday. As well in my area (and like much of the state) numerous pawn shops buying more firearms than selling. |

Under this hypothetical, what happens to the US military assets already in a state?

Looseranna View Quote LOTS of guns, lots of agriculture and long growing season, rough terrain in the South, closed insular social groups with strong cohesion, moderate to strong sense of self reliance and "bushcraft", and like most Southern states a lot of veterans. I hope you're not a military planner. |

my serious answer is maryland. small state that hates guns, and full of stupid laws.

Texas doesn't seem to have offered much resistance to the Mexican reconquista
Mississippi is the poorest and fattest so that's what I'm going with. |

Mosquitoes and chiggers guard my state. We'll be fine. View Quote Yeah I was thinking the same thing, we have scorpions and snakes and all kinds of poisonous shit. Also, every plant, and I mean every single plant, tree, vine, fungus or what have you, has some kind of spike or thorn or barbed hell device sticking out of it. This place sucks. |

After seeing how the people of NOLA behaved during Katrina I would expect even less the next go-around. |
