Anyone with an Apple that upgrades as soon as they release a new version of their OS deserves exactly what they get.

running and posting from my 2010 MacBook pro, no issues to report

.xx is a minor update and really shouldn't fuck anything up but for as for Apple, "think different"
Wait until 11 is released, that's when shit really flies. |

How long does it take to install?
Thinking about downloading it.

It's been "OS X" since 1999/2001! I mean if they were going to do a new version, they would have done it now. |

Just upgraded my 2007 or so macboo. Only thing that broke was DivX.

but but, apple just works. new ios 7 made my iphone 4 unusable. slow, laggy, unresponsive, random crashes. I know is an old phone, but it was just fine before the update. ios 7 made my ipad 2 slow down some as well. I'm entrenched with the apps I use and apple still has the best exchange server interface so now I have to upgrade my phone.

My friend is screaming bloody murder after the latest upgrade screwed his iPad all to hell.

Parallels was a bit wonky, and the office Auto update is not working.
it also seems a bit slower and sluggish. |

Waiting for some reports to come in before I upgrade. 2009 MBP.

I have an iMac and a Mac Mini Server.
I upgraded the server last night. My only issue so far is that it automatically turned off screen sharing, which is how I accessed the desktop on that computer. I'll hook it up to the HDMI on my TV tonight. Easy enough, but annoying that it happened. ETA - Apple Remote Desktop doesn't work either. |

It's a pretty large update, yet I like the way it's kind of understated. Once it's downloaded, it pretty much just starts without a lot of the usual hullabaloo; "Bienvenue.... Wilkommen... Welcome...".
PS No problems here. I like it.

I have a Xcode tutorial due tonight... I'll try it after I submit it. 2008 MB.

I came here (again) to mention that mine is still working beautifully.
It really is a nice upgrade. I'm really digging it, and I didn't really have any major complaints with Mountain Lion.
|
|
So, apparently, shutting it down, and letting it sit for a day, seems to solve the problem. I'm back online, baby!
And everything's pretty snappy. |
|
no issues here 2012MBP
if anything, it fixed the login screen hangups I was plagued with in 10.8 |
|
Since the upgrade, my MBP's battery is sucking harder than a Kardashian at a NAACP convention.
|
|
Been using this for 3 days now, seems solid. Fixed my MBP's wireless issues where the connection would randomly drop out and reset. Happy with it.
