Beretta Brigadier 92F Stainless in 9mm.

Yeah!! OK, well, I put the money down for it and I have to wait for it to come into the FFL (about a week). Can't wait!

How, who is gonna sell me/trade me some high caps???

I'm also buying two stripped receivers made by DPMS...

That's the one I should have bought.  Instead I got the regular 92FS Inox.  Added the hogue grip later, but broke a grip screw doing it.  [>Q]

Speaking of which, anybody know how much it would cost to get a gunsmith to fix that?

CG, if I could buy a new gun as a "me feel better now" gift, I'd LET people back into my car. Nice looking gun. Used a 92FS in the academy, nice guns (for a mouse-caliber [smoke]).

Santyth, if it's just a grip-screw and not the frame threads, then you should be able to buy replacements from Hogue or Beretta. Anytime I had a problem with parts breakage or loss, Beretta sent me replacements, usually free.

It is a mouse caliber, but I plan to shoot the living shit out of this gun, for the rest of my life too... :)

Buying several 15 rounders for it :)

Hope you enjoy it.  I've got the Elite II, and stupidly sold the Centurion.

Any good Beretta man has got to have 10 - 15 mags.  You should be able to buy Good quality GI mags at most gun shows for $40 each.  If you find a GI mag with assy # that is stamped "Made in Italy", it is an early issue and generally better quality than the US mfg mags.  The asian mags are OK, but don't waste your time with any of the cheap domestic replacement mags.

Problem is, the head of the screw broke from the threaded part, and the threaded part is still stuck.

Easy. go down to a GOOD hardware store and buy a really small left-handed drill bit and an EZ-out extractor to match. This will only be a few bucks. Carefully drill a hole in the screw, then use the EZ-out to unscrew it. With any luck (and this has happened to me, although I have never broken a grip screw) the left-handed drill bit will grab it and unscrew it for you. You will need a drill that runs in reverse to use the bit...
