They will do the "Kung Po Shuffle" for awhile but we will get it back. They're just not "done" with it yet...

Highly unlikely.....one report said the crew destroyed a lot of the recorded info before landing....thing is...we will be (are) flying missions right back there....so that`s probably more of a concern, that the incident could have a follow up contact of aircraft...the fighter pilots will be a little less agressive i would think...unless they`re stupid...time will tell.....[rocket]

Yea, we did with the Russkies in the mid-70's. Vicktor Borenko (or something similar, it escapes me now) defected to Japan with a Mig 25. The first one we'd seen.

We sent the plane back to them in crates. [:D]

The Chinee will do the same here.

They will send the plane back after they've examined and can reproduce every piece of equipment on board!  US will pay the postage!

Or maybe it will become a tourist atraction like the USS Pueblo in North Korea!

I'd like to have it returned so I could place it on Hwy. 10 in AZ and turn it into the "WONG WEI" diner and Chinese restaurant!

I told my partner at work last night we ought to send over a Tomahawk or 5.

"What do you mean we killed 20 of your technicians?"

"What were YOUR technicians doing on OUR plane?"

It is only political fodder now.  The plane is really of no use to us.  Except we would have parts to repair the other planes in our inventory.  That  plane is not air worthy.

"I'd like to see a sub launched cruise missle take it out at night right under their noses."

A Black Visitor in the Night would be better.  Since the Chinks are so fond of harassing our aircraft, perhaps they might enjoy another demo of Stealth.

I think we should blow the freakin thing off the runway and send them some Hefty bags to clean it up.  Of course we won't do that, I think that to keep some damage control with our relations, we'll keep negotiating with the chinese until they give us our plane back.  By then they'll have gotten all they could get from it anyway, if they haven't already.

First of all i dont know why the pilot landed in china he should of ditched at sea instead of landing our plane on the enemys runway. secondly I dont know why we give these people most favored nation trading status, it seems to me we should give them "enemy" status.

for starters weather it was a recon plane or not i bet they had some explosives. they should have flew as far as possible into the ocean and used the explosives in mid air. problem would have been solved. oh yeah then at least they would have a real chance at being called heros.

A nice cruise missle will solve the problem.
