I need  software that can turn scanned documents into forms that can be filled out.I would like something free that could be downloaded for now[quickfix].Then perhaps a pay version that does more/works better.

Try www.zdnet.com and do a search for OCR. That means OPTICAL CHARACTOR RECOGNITION.

You want OmniForm Pro.  For OCR work, you'd want OmniPage, but OmniForm will do exactly what you want.
