My aluminum foil mind protecting hat just isn't quite working. I want a kevlar helmet, but the sizes are a bit confusing. I have a size 7 noggin, would that be a GI small 1 2 or 3, or a medium 1..?

Don't get the US made ones!  They'll know where you are and what you're doing whenever you wear it.  The GPS transponders they have built in and the neurocranial scanning matrix that are part of the support straps will help the government see where you are and maybe even send your down the mkUltra path!!! I have a size 7 1/4 head, and my Medium K-Pot wouks just peachy.

Go down to an Army Surplus store and try a few on. But I think that the Medium will be just fine because the part that really counts is the Sweatband, and that is one size fits all.
