the word is the Feds droped their case and sent the snipers back to Va. due to an order from the White House.
The Bush admid. told them not to step on thet state's toes.

If this is true it's very good news,it will be about damn time the states get the due rights as the founders wanted it to be.
Lets hope this is a trend.

No links,got am e-mail from a buddy thats in school in N.VA. he got in from a AM talk radio show and then the same thing was on the air here in Florida about 30 mins ago(1:45 am)

More sneaky bullshit from our government. They should have never lodged federal charges, they should have done it right--an arrest warrant for murder in MD, VA, etc.  Instead, we got more police state bs from the feds who think they can get play games with lodging charges only to have them dismissed.  I'm glad the two were caught, but the tactics used were   reprehensible and unnecessary.

This nonsense about shopping around for the jurisdiction with the best liklihood of getting a death penalty conviction is another travesty of justice.  Sickening!  Just as sickening as what those two did to their victims.

At least the states will try them for murder now, which is good.
