This letter was in today's San Antonio Express-News. I will type it here for your information. I have included the author's name as it appeared in the paper. I find this ironic that we don't learn from our past mistakes.....

History Lesson

 If we don't act, it will be a catastrophe.
 Our enemies won't fear us.
 Our friends won't trust us, and the rest of the world will think we are weak and have no credibility.
 Our role as the leader of the Free World will be lost forever.
 Am I supporting and attack on Syria? No. I am just remembering what was said about the war in Vietnam.
