People that race are typically not afraid of getting hurt or worse. It's accepted that every time you get on a track, it may be your last, but the rush makes the risk worth it. I'll bet that didn't even affect his lap times.

Looks like track day, not a race. No number plates and through the corners, nobody is really racing.

I'd like to know how that bike was going so slow relative to the camera. It looked almost like it was going the other way.
