Trust me. Even Trolls 2 was a better movie than Jason X.
Don't waste your time.

Part 6 is the best, IMO. Jason X is an abomination. Freddy vs Jason wasn't good because Freddy was too corny. The latest Friday the 13th was pretty good as well.

Any of these...

Remake

Part 1 and 3 were my favorites. They got that classic old 80's feel to them with genuine scares. The series turned to a cheesefest after 3. If you're actually looking for a cheesy one go with the "Jason takes Manhatten" one.  And Jason vs Freddy was surprisingly entertaining for what it was.

I'm watching 6 as I'm typing this so I'll vote that one or the newest one. Then maybe 4 and Freddy vs. Jason. If you've seen the others they aren't worth watching again.

Do you absolutely have to watch a friday the 13th movie? there was alot of good slasher flicks in that era.  the first two halloweens, the burning, house on sorority row were all good.

Lesson learned. Never browse Netflix with drunk friends.

Right, I was about to recommend he watch one of the "Living Dead" flicks instead. Pretty much all of them are good and stand the test of time better than "Friday the 13th" movies.

Watch something that's still fun to watch OP. Unless you somehow missed out on all the Jason movies back when they actually had life to them.

The new Texas Chainsaw that just came out is kind of entertaining.

The first one. That is all.

1,2,3 That would be my pick. My favorite is 2. I think Jason is a lot more scarier with the potato sack on his head than the hockey mask.

The Wrong Turn series is pretty good.
