Hmmm.
Biscuit is a pretty wide ranging term depending upon how and what it's made with.

However, given your poll choices, for me either just plain butter or honey.

Poll is flawed, if u pick two choices "just butter" is invalid. Butter & jelly ftw.

No.

This poll isn't about your biscuit that you had for breakfast.

It's about the buttered biscuit you had at the end of breakfast - you know, the sweet one to finish everything off. Maybe the one you put some butter on and left in the stove while you were eating. Yeah, that one.

My wife cooked 'breakfast' tonight. Country ham, eggs, red-eyed gravy, and biscuits. I ate an embarrassing amount of ham, and three eggs, and a couple of biscuits soaked with red-eyed gravy. Then I mixed up some honey and butter and sopped it up with my last biscuit. It was fine. In all honesty, I prefer molasses, but we're out right now; I used the last of the jar to rub a boston butt.

I voted jelly.

And I also voted other.

Maple syrup.  Or if not available, Aunt Jemima syrup.

ETA: damn, the rest of the responses in this tread are making me drool..

If you can it yourself from your own trees, and I'll give it a close tie with honey. Because the honey I'm my house, come out of the back yard.

Yep. I looked up margarine, that shit is more plastic than milk. It's the Darth Vader of the dairy world. Twisted and evil.
