I am incredibly pleased and elated to hear that the recall efforts in Colorado have been successful, and both Morse and Giron have been recalled and replaced.
There are many people who sacrificed a lot to get to this point. They made things happen by volunteering their money and their time. I want to bring special attention to the guys who started this all, and those who went into debt and/or sold their belongings to raise money to get the ball rolling. It is unacceptable for them to take a loss after all they've done to achieve this critically important success for representative government, the 2nd Amendment, and the nation. I want to make sure they are made whole.
I know that reptar_head borrowed $4,000 from his grandma to get the Pueblo recall started. I also know that ARFcom is generous and can repay that loan for him.
There are others (82nd_sapper, KeithC, etc.) who have given a lot to get these results. I don't know the extent of their sacrifice, but I am hoping those in CO who sold their guns to fund the recall can tell us of their sacrifice and we can come together to ensure they can buy replacements.
I can donate $40 to reptar_head to pay back his loan. If 99 other ARFcommers donate 1% of that loan, it will be paid off.
This community made this recall happen. Let's see what we can do to make its organizers whole again!
