Anybody ever hear of Geographic Tongue?
WTF? Friend of mine is having trouble eating many types of foods .....turns out the sensitivity is due to this Their tongue looks like it has a bunch of deep cracks in it kind like a broken windshield would look Here is a pic of what it looks like (Pic is not mine)  Uploaded with ImageShack.us" /> |

I've got the same tongue.
I don't like peppers, olives, celery, or most onions.

I wonder if it's due to the shape of their lower jaw, which causes the tongue to be scrunched up and form the permanent wrinkles over time.

that doesn't look like geo tongue that i have but i'm sure its not all the same. I have it; dentist confirmed it when I was having a checkup/cleaning.
Comes and goes depending on what I'm eating. Not really a big deal. |
