So my computer monitor is going out and it's out of warranty.  It's an LG and I've hated it pretty much since I bought it from Amazon.  I can see the refresh lines when I'm gaming and now it has a double image about 1/4" wide.

I use this computer mainly for Arfcoming and gaming.  What are suggestions that I should look into?  Let's say below $200, a good name manufacturer, and at least 24".

Go.

Interesting.  It's awesome that technology exists, but why would I want to see the wall behind my desk?

I could see my screen refreshing rapidly and at first thought it was my eyes. Made my eyes itch like when watching an ant bed full of ants crawling around on it after you've poked it with a stick.

But what it was was the refresh rate was set to 60hz after reinstalling windows.

Bumped it to 75 hz and no more flickering.
