^^ What these two said. The SSA is simply awesome, I'm using it in my LR308 as well as my two M4's, and will get another for my 5.45 build.

It's money well spent.

If you know the difference between a stock trigger and fancy trigger and know what it can do for you shooting, or if you want to learn those differences, then take the plunge.

Personally I prefer the SSA over the SSA-E.  Both are great triggers, the only after market triggers I recommend.....for me (I carry ALL of my rifles at one time or another) and in a carry gun I like the 4.5 pound trigger over the 3.5 pounder.

Otherwise go rock out with it!!

Problem solved.  I thought to ask during the NRA 2013 Convention and this is my small contribution to this board to go along with the larger contribution I made to Geissele.  I forgot to upload it until I saw that comment.

Below is a link to an 11 second video where I get the staffer at the booth to pronounce the name properly.  Happy  to help.

They mix especially well with a 16" bcm ss410 1/8 twist barrel and 77 gr smks....1 moa 10 shot groups.

Much harder to do with a GI trigger.

I run a few rifles with  SSA-E's and
I've installed SSA-E's for folks.

We all love them.

Do it!

I have had good luck using the SSA with 5.45.
I was concerned at first with the harder primers on the 5.45, since I originally planned on using just the upper for one of my two AR's that both have SSA's installed, but BRD took over, and after help on here, I decided to invest in another lower and get another SSA as well.

Still uses the stock weight hammer spring I believe, so it wouldn't be an issue.  I love my S3G

You planning on scoping it, and shooting past 200 yards? Otherwise, The A is plenty crisp enough.

The high end one's will let you shoot as fast as the fastest out there, and you won't need a faux grip to fool you into believing it alone will make you shoot faster on a stock trigger.

I have a SD-E in my MWS. poor follow through on the trigger can cause doubles, my only complaint, but that's really a problem with me.

yes.....because Geissele makes the Hi Speed Match.
