The worst thing that could happen would be that AQ takes over in Syria and has control of Assad's chem. weapons.
So that's what will probably happen.

All I can say is a bunch of our in-house experts are MIA so my guess is they are working serious OT trying to unfuck this mess.

My guess is that there's going to be a ground war anyways, and if Iran gets involved, it will probably turn out to be big.
I don't think either side is stupid enough to give Obama the impetus he needs for a ground invasion. They stand to gain MUCH by simply letting things stay as they are, with him looking the complete fool. Then again, I've been wrong before. |
