X-rays were first observed and documented in 1895 by Wilhelm Conrad
Röntgen, a German scientist who found them quite by accident when
experimenting with vacuum tubes. A week later, he took an X-ray
photograph of his wife's hand which clearly revealed her wedding ring
and her bones. The photograph electrified the general public and
aroused great scientific interest in the new form of radiation. Röntgen
called it "X" to indicate it was an unknown type of radiation. The name
stuck, although (over Röntgen's objections), many of his colleagues
suggested calling them Röntgen rays. They are still occasionally
referred to as Röntgen rays in German-speaking countries.

As a matter of fact, they are solely known as Roentgen-Strahlen (Roentgen rays) in German speaking countries; complete with proper derivations of the term, like Roentgen-Labor, Roentgen-Apparat, Roentgen-Bild, jemanden roentgen (to X-ray somebody) etc.

And Homer's reply to this X-ray would be that we only use 10% of our brain anyway.

X-Ray true fact #2:

X-rays are identical to Gamma Rays, the only difference being their point of origin.

There are Alpha and Beta Rays also, but what about the rest of the Greek alphabet? I am beginning to see a long-running Templar/Illuminati/ Rosarian type Letter Conspiracy here, what are they keeping from us???
