I have a professional indoor range run by the county. If this  was not built in the 70's it would not exist today. This is one of the only things good her in NY. $7- residents and $12- non residents. That is by the hour. 25 yards. any pistol any type of bullet.Any rifle with soft point. 25 yards gets you on paper with rifles.

Couple of outdoor ranges$8- per day

Northern Virginia, about 20 miles southwest of DC.  I shoot at the Izaak Walton club.  We have a 19 lane 100 yard range.  Used for rifle and pistol.  Open year round.  Fee is 100 dollars a year for IWLA membership.

Closest range to me in the Houston area is if I remember correctly, it is $6.00 for the first gun, $2.00 each additional gun any distance range and you can stay as long as you like.  I think the annual membership is $170 and that covers all the shooting you want.

Silver Bullet $8/hr pistol range. I usually only use it in cold weather or competition.
The Chery Creek Rifle Range (outdoors)is $10, but they offer help sighting in and have gunsmith and boresight services available.
