A small serving of resistant starch like peas or beans would be better than the sugar in the dillo dust.

Yeah, probably. I only went with the dust since I was inspired by a dillo dust thread and hadn't used it in a while.

Noted.

10/10 because you have dillo dust.  I can forgive not having alcohol or a starch because of the dilloness you represent.

I'll give you a +1 for the rifle.

Some here would hammer you on the photography alone with no consideration given to the grub and guns.

I just did. Grilling is great for a lot of things but not  the best way to cook a steak. Pan searing + oven > grilling steak. You won't go to a good steak house and see them cook it on a grill.

Our dinner:

Started like this:

Cooked on this:

Ended up like this:

Sliced like this:

Served like this:

To drink, she enjoyed a glass of ''The Crusher' Pinot Grigio, while I had water to drink (with our meals). Great wine, The Crusher!'

Total pts awarded: 53 points (out of 100 total))...I believe I earned a true 40 pts (+ 3 point bonus for pics of Dillo Dust) for a Grand Total of 43 of 100 Total Pts.

A 'Fail' of epic proportions due to lack of seating, no beverages shown and no salad, slaw, or sidearm/AR in proximity of the feast!

Huge Violations of "FDF's 5-S BBQ Rule!" States that any BBQ meal must present:
(Steak (Sliced or Shredded meat), Slaw (or Starch), Salad, Swill (Soda) and Sidearm) - the basics required to meet my own standards: "FDF's 5-S' BBQ Rule."

Nobody said this shizzle was easy. Mere 'tasty looking pics' only go so far towards fulfilling the definition of 'a BBQ meal' in this joint.

I pledge to do better next time. Good post, OP, and excellent choices of Iron as a complement to your tasty meal.

Ya'll have a good weekend!
