The few cops that they have on that TV show seem to treat drunk tourists pretty well. If your just drunk and could use some help, they look out for your safety.
If your drunk and escalate the situation when they contact you, they still give you some leeway. You gotta be a drunken asshole who absolutely crosses the line and/or does something very stupid to get locked up. Never seen so much lenience before I watched this show
