Gas mileage isn't spectacular...and by that I mean that even the V6 models will struggle to get 15 mpg.
The stock brakes on the lower end models aren't very good...which shows up when 4,200 pounds of Dodge is heading down a twisty mountain road.
It's a Chrysler product, so assume the automatic transmission will die at some point.
Turning the traction control off takes more than just hitting the button...you have to learn the super-secret handshake to make it happen.
...but if none of that discourages you, they aren't really bad cars. They are big, heavy, pretty comfortable, and they look awesome. The v8 models make a nice noise. And you can even get them with a manual transmission, which would be my choice. All sorts of aftermarket for them. They actually handle pretty well for a two-ton behemoth. They don't handle like a Lotus, but neither will they careen into a tree if you dare go around a turn at more than 10 MPH. With good tires they grip well and will tell you that you're being stupid long before they kill you. With the traction control off on freshly fallen snow, it's a lot of fun to drift...assuming you have enough skill to handle 4,200 pounds of car in a drift without overcooking it and spinning.
EDIT - Regarding the blind spots above, my Charger wasn't really that bad...but you do need to learn how to properly use the mirrors and do the backup twist when reversing.
