http://www.ussportsmen.org/antis/peta-asks-city-officials-to-place-5-foot-chicken-statue-at-crash-site/ PETA officials sent a letter to Salem Traffic Engineer, Keven Hottman, asking if he would permit their 5 foot “crippled-chicken sculpture” which depicts a bloody chicken on crutches.

That would be awesome, I'm sure most of the people who saw that "work of art" would consider PETA even more of a lunatic fringe than they did before.

If I was a sculptor I would sculpt a statue of a the most moronic/lunatic depiction of peta and then demand that it be posted in the same manner even though I know it would not be just to irk them.
